Feast On brings a taste of Ontario to Restaurants for Change
We’re so excited to have the support of the Culinary Tourism Alliance again for this year’s Restaurants for Change!
We’ve teamed up with the Culinary Tourism Alliance and their Feast On program to sign up some all-star Ontario restaurants for Restaurants for Change. Feast On encourages and promotes restaurants that serve and celebrate local fare. For locals and travellers alike, Feast On is a criteria-based program that recognizes businesses committed to showcasing Ontario’s unique tastes of place.
Through our partnership, Restaurants for Change joined up with some of Feast On’s Ontario restaurant partners to support healthy food programs across Canada. The participating restaurants at this year’s Restaurants for Change include:
- The Quirky Carrot, Alexandria
- Backhouse, Niagara-on-the-Lake
- PORT, Pickering
- The Bruce Hotel, Stratford
- Cafe Belong, Toronto
- Richmond Station, Toronto
- Maple Leaf Tavern, Toronto
- Quetzal, Toronto
Dine at one of these restaurants on October 17, and you’ll not only be enjoying a taste of place, but you’ll be supporting Community Food Centres Canada and its partners to build better health, belonging, and social justice in low-income communities through the power of food.
